"Marmalade
(n.) A clear, jellylike preserve made from the pulp and rind of fruits,
especially citrus ones. If you haven't heard this band already, the
dictionary definition won't give you much indication of what to expect.
Drummer Trevor Walker describes it as "jazz and new age fused with rock and
classical," although to most, the band defies definition. But their name, a
clever spin on the word "jamming," is more than just a pun; it's
representative of how Marmalading succeeds as a band by spinning something
conventional into something wholly unique, unheard of, and perhaps even 'rockin'.'"
- written by Kate Pellegriti, taken from "The Spectrum", February 2006
